LETTER TO OUR DAUGHTER ABOUT FAITH

Thank you for your beautiful letter. You are quite correct in saying that I wasn’t ready back then and any message would probably have been soon forgotten. However I would have enjoyed hearing how you felt. I am so glad that you have been interested in your spiritual life for so long.

No one knows when the rapture will come, regardless of what signs there are. I am fortunate to regularly converse with Choo Thomas who walked with Jesus many times and He still appears to her at least weekly. She has not been told any date. But he told her last Christmas that it may be the last time she dances for Him on His birthday. He said many times that our home in Heaven is ready and signed. I take this to mean that our residences there have our name on the door. Choo was shown her mansion with the name Choo Nam on the door. She is excited and ready to go while still working a grueling schedule to spread the message of His coming as widely as possible.

It is amazing what she with not too much education and with English as a poor second language, has accomplished throughout the world. The book that Jesus dictated to her has become a world-wide best seller having been translated into many other languages. She told me last week that further signs on His coming have been made known to her and “He is coming soon, very soon.”  She is ready and a vision has shown her whole family being taken up. She has also seen many that she knows ascending with Jesus. She would only tell me that she saw Pastor Michael Park, a man who has done great work in having the book translated, printed and distributed in many countries. His home is in California but he travels extensively to Southeast Asia at the present time. We have supported his work financially. She said she also saw me. I have to wonder what the world will be like when all of these Christians have been taken up. Satan already rules this world but Jesus and many Christians hold him in check to some extent. He will be wiped out after the tribulation, at least for 1000 years. After that the story gets even more interesting until his final, final demise.

Even without that impetus, it is the duty of every Christian to spread the message of salvation and I spend a lot of time doing my best toward this goal. I have alienated some Jews in our area with the article in the PACC newsletter as evidenced by some emails. These have been answered and I believe they have calmed down. Mom has said a couple of times that I have lost friends through these efforts during the past year. I have little evidence of this, as all but one person I know still gives a friendly greeting. Even so, I don’t care as we have also gained some wonderful friends through our faith.

I understand completely what you are saying. I too believe I have unfinished business here. I love my life and especially Mom, you and the rest of our family, and some very dear friends. So I am not in any hurry. What is VITAL IS TO BE READY as we don’t know when Jesus will come, nor do we know how long we will live otherwise. My letter outlined what is needed to be ready. I think a person can prepare themselves and be ready without any death wish or concern about end times. My letter was intended to shock some in our family who are not with it. I am helpless myself to open their minds and hearts to salvation. Perhaps all I can do is to get them thinking about it. My letter was not written by myself, it was guided by the Holy Spirit as is this to you.

What some may be missing is that Heaven is so much more beautiful, interesting and enjoyable than life here on earth. Those who have been blessed to experience a little of it can’t wait to get there regardless of how much they enjoy their life here. Alicia’s ambitions are admirable. But if she achieves all of them to the fullest but is not part of the rapture, she will be terribly sad. Especially to have to endure the tribulation without adequate warning or preparation will be monumentally difficult. I have no plans at present to press this with her but I believe she needs to be ready by whatever means is required to get her there.

Yes it sounds like she already has a full plate, but she does have some free time as evidenced by her travels. To not help her get ready may be something she will never forgive us for. The steps to salvation if she has not already taken them should not require a lot of time. The key thing is to develop a loving relationship with Jesus Christ and make Him the most important part of our lives. A few minutes every day can be used to get to know Him and develop a relationship. After a person has done what was mentioned in my letter, they just need to start each day with prayer, thanksgiving and love. Then as the day progresses and something good happens, thank Him as He was responsible for it. Make the last part of your day closing prayers to Him. There are other things that will help such as Bible reading. God gave us everything we have, everything we are, and all that we will be. He deserves our thanks and praise. A personal relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit is wonderful that no words can adequately describe or explain.

Most of us who have been blessed with an enjoyable life are not finished with it. I want to continue to enjoy every day, and I do. I am not in any hurry to leave this life, but when I do I want to know where I will spend eternity. Our life is like a single grain of sand compared with all the sand in the universe, a blink of time versus untold millenniums. We cannot afford to covet our earthly life to the exclusion of preparing for our eternity. With much love to you Judy, Dad
