Jesus Christ is coming soon to take His followers to Heaven, whether people believe this or not. After accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are commanded to take His salvation message to others. We know pleas from believers will not sway all unbelievers.  We found that most of the world did not know or care about Jesus. I was one of those until 2004 when I read the book “Heaven Is So Real”, which literally shook me into accepting Him. Then reading further, I hungered to know Him.

I am so thankful that I was drawn to Jesus even late in my life. Much has been learned about the future by thoughtfully reading the Bible. Although written 2000 years ago by men, it was dictated by God and His angels. It tells us to look for the signs of end times – and they have cropped up in abundance, especially in the last year. Also the Lord Himself has issued warnings this year. I am sure by what has been happening that we are in end times, and disasters will only get worse. (Luke 21:7-25)

I only wish I had known Jesus earlier in life. Although unknowingly I had been guided by God all my life, Jesus has often answered prayers and healed me quickly. I had to learn though that He only answers some pleas in His good time. His answers may not be what we expect, but will be in our best interests. He has been a great blessing in our lives. God’s Love is phenomenal.

Jesus has promised that He will take His followers from this earth before the worst calamities occur. We don’t want to be here after that. After Jesus takes His faithful, those left behind will go through seven years of the Great Tribulation. This will literally be hell on earth. Satan will be in control and will be trying his best to sway all remaining “Christians” to him. His plea will be compelling and seem the easiest course. Beware -- NEVER accept his number 666 or allow an ID to be implanted in your skin, you will forever be with Satan in hell.

There is no downside to pledging our life to the Lord, only blessings. Perhaps we may have to change some habits, but it will be totally for our good. We will also develop some new friendships, but still nurture the best of our old friendships. And - it is a simple act to come to the love of Jesus.

Those who are ready for Jesus to take His faithful to Heaven in the Rapture should not worry. But I would worry if I did not believe that I am ready for Him. To be ready we can say the Sinner’s Prayer, confess that we along with everyone in the world are a sinner, ask for forgiveness and pledge our lives to the Lord. Then we will live as we believe the Lord wants us to live -- that is loving Him above everything and everyone, and loving others as we love ourselves. This advice is found in the Bible (Matthew 22:37-39) and the wonderful book “Heaven Is So Real” by Choo Thomas.

Sinner’s prayer -- Simply say this prayer aloud, sincerely from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and You died for me. Please come into my heart, be my Lord and Savior and forgive all my sins and take control of every area of my life from this moment on. Jesus, fill me with your Holy Spirit and use me for Your glory. I want to serve You and love You all the days of my life. Thank You Father, that I am now Your child, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

After this prayer read the Bible to learn God’s Word, pray often and go to church if you can. Your life will never be the same; you’ll have greater peace while on this earth and live forever with Jesus in Heaven. If any of you lacks wisdom for how best to live, ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given. (James 1:5)
