WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE RAPTURE - TRIBULATION

This is being written now because I don’t know how long Mom and I will be on this earth. Don’t be alarmed, if we leave in the next days or months it will be a good thing, not a tragedy. And I pray that you will be with us, not reading or re-reading this. My careful study of the Bible plus many books about the gospel and information from other people, lead me to only one conclusion. We are in what some call “end times”. This means that before long our world will be partially destroyed by a drastic happening, and later rebuilt. There is not the slightest doubt in my mind that the final act of end times will begin soon.

Here is what is going to happen. Only our Heavenly Father knows the exact time, but it will happen. We must be ready for this happening. The second coming of Christ, predicted at least 4000 years ago and at least 2000 years before Jesus was born, is very near. I believe it will happen very soon. It could happen today but I really don’t know the timing. Many of the events mentioned in the Bible that were to happen before His coming have already occurred. Everything is in place; Jesus has completed his plans for his “children”. These are people who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior.

The coming of Christ in the clouds to take his faithful “children” will be a great event for the millions of believers in Jesus. They will be taken up to Heaven along with their young children. For the rest of humanity, it will be the setting for a hell on earth. Many of those who remain will be allowed to choose between worshiping Jesus or worshiping Satan. The latter will be the seemingly easy choice, but not the choice that anyone should make.

The world will then go through seven years of the “Tribulation”. During the first 42 months after Christ comes and takes his “children” to Heaven, a human who is now living, the Antichrist, will come to power, will consolidate his power and cause peace to reign throughout the world. However, it will be the beginning of great persecution to the people of God. These are the people who worship God, but did not fully confess their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and did not establish a personal relationship with Him. They are the “left behind”. World catastrophes will lead everyone to recognize this as the judgment of God. More than one half of the world’s population will be killed in cataclysmic events like nothing the world has ever seen. There will be earthquakes, tidal waves, hurricanes, meteors and other disasters described in the Bible. At that time the Antichrist will also be killed.

Next, the devil will resurrect the body of the Antichrist and take it over so that many will believe that he is God due to this miracle. All humanity will be required to worship him or his image. He will continue to deceive people into believing that he, Satan, is God though more miraculous happenings. Those who accept this will have the mark of Satan either on their arm or forehead. The mark will be “666”. Those without this mark will not be allowed to buy or sell anything. This is just one part of the monumental hardship for those people. Those who refuse the mark of Satan will have the mark of the Lord on them and will be mercilessly persecuted. Satan’s plan is to drive as many as possible to worship him. Satan will make it easy to accept his mark, but those who do will be subjected to unbearable torture later. Also, those who accept him will be doomed to an eternity in hell. Hell is far worse than anyone has ever imagined; it will be an eternity of torture with no way out.

It will be possible for you to still make it to Heaven if you refuse to pledge to Satan. Dr. David Jeremiah has said: “There will be multitudes of people who find themselves in a fix. They will have failed to believe on Jesus Christ before the Rapture, and they find themselves enduring the pain of enduring tribulation on earth. But hopefully they will not fail to call out to God for salvation. We know that many will call upon Him, bases on the multitudes “of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues”  the apostle John saw in heaven – those who had “come out of the great tribulation” (Revelations 7:9, 14). Even if they lose their life via persecution on earth, their eternal life is secure. God always delivers those He saves.”

No one should choose to go through Tribulation. The choice is yours to make before Jesus comes for his “Children”. The only way to avoid this is to choose to become a follower of Jesus, confess that you are a sinner (everyone on earth is a sinner, many by valuing possessions or a habit, or even another person more than they value a relationship with God), ask for His forgiveness, and then worship Him as your Lord and Savior. Then develop a personal relationship with Him, the living God, in your daily life. This is a wonderful experience.

To gain further information on what is going to happen, read the Bible book of “Daniel”, and the last book of the Bible, “Revelation”. You may find the images in Revelations strange. The book “Revelation Unveiled” by Tim LaHaye explains in great detail what the symbols and events in Revelation really mean.
