A Prayer for Help, and Praise for Its Answer.
A Psalm of David.
To You, O Lord, I call;
My Arock, do not be deaf to me,
For if You Bare silent to me,
I will become like those who Cgo down to the pit.
Hear the Avoice of my supplications when I cry to You for help,
When I Blift up my hands Ctoward 1Your holy Dsanctuary.
ADo not drag me away with the wicked
And with those who work iniquity,
Who Bspeak peace with their neighbors,
While evil is in their hearts.
Requite them Aaccording to their work and according to the evil of their practices;
Requite them according to the deeds of their hands;
Repay them their 1recompense.
Because they Ado not regard the works of the Lord
Nor the deeds of His hands,
He will tear them down and not build them up.

Blessed be the Lord,
Because He Ahas heard the voice of my supplication.
The Lord is my Astrength and my Bshield;
My heart Ctrusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore Dmy heart exults,
And with Emy song I shall thank Him.
The Lord is 1their Astrength,
And He is a 2Bsaving defense to His anointed.
ASave Your people and bless BYour inheritance;
Be their Cshepherd also, and Dcarry them forever.
